Q: Is your recycling service free? A: You bet, we are doing this service for free because we want to help the environment, and not let the raw materials from CDs go to waste. Q: Can you pickup the CDs I have? A: Yes, we are currently offering free truck pickup service all around Southern California area. Q: Do you guys have a place where I can drop off my CDs locally? A: Yes we do, currently we have 2 drop off locations. Chino Drop off center 401 S. Q: What else do you accept besides CDs for recycling? A: We accept all types of CD/DVD cases, DVDs, Blu Rays, HD DVDs. Cellphones,IPODs and all kinds of other E-waste such as computers. in any condition are accepted as well now. Q: Do you need us to sort it before we send it to you? A: It is not necessary to do so. Q: If I shred my CDs before sending it to you, will you take scraps? A: Yes, however If you are going to shred the CDs, please don't shred the paper and cases along with it, when the raw material is mixed up, it is very hard to separate them to be recycled. Q: Can you shred the CDs for me? A: Yes, and it will be done free of charge, once we shredded the CDs, we will send you via fax or mail a Certificate of Destruction upon request. Q: Our CDs have private information on them, will you protect our privacy? A: Yes, we are required by law to do so anyway. Once we received and recycled your CDs, we will fax or mail a Certificate of Destruction to you upon request for your protection. Q: Where does the recycled materials end up? A: Not in landfills, I can guarantee you that! After the recycling process, the raw materials will be packaged into a 40' container and shipped to overseas manufacturing companies. The jewel cases will cleaned and reused if possible, otherwise sent along with the raw materials. Click here for more details on our recycling process. Q: I want to schedule an E-waste recycling event with you guys, any ideas on how to begin? A: You can contact us directly and we will bring a truck over to collect all kinds of E-waste such as Computers, TVs, Monitors, CDs and all sorts of other E-wastes. Q: I want to start a CD recycling program at my workplace, any ideas on how to begin? A: To begin, you need to contact us, but to give you a general idea on how it will work: 1) We will evaluate the location and the amount of CDs generated each month and determine if its feasible to pickup the CDs. 2) We will provide your company with necessary containers for recycling CDs and Jewelcases, and in most cases, we will give a standard 48 x 32 box to put all the CDs/cases in. 3) When the box is full, you will give us a call and we'll send a trucker to pickup the box and deliver to our warehouse to be recycled. All of this is done completely free, if you think your company generate a good amount of CDs over months, please contact us as soon as possible to get started. Q: Why should we recycle CDs? A: Because you will be helping the environment around you a WHOLE lot. Think about it, if you simply dump them into your trash, they won't be sorted out and recycled, most likely they will go straight into the landfill where they won't decompose for hundreds of years.
